Hello Guest!

You have entered the homepage of the local amateur radio club of Herrenberg located in the south west of Germany near Stuttgart.

Our club consists of approximately 70 members.

Our history started in 1956 with a project of radio receivers for the shortwave band. Since we were the 18th club within the district of „Wuerttemberg“, we are assigned the DOK (German local code) P18 . „P“ is the prefix letter for all clubs of our district.

We operate a speech repeater and a packet radio digipeater located on top of the water tower in Jettingen.

Regular activities:

+ Monthly meetings in the hotel „Zum Botenfischer“ in Herrenberg
+ Local ARDF competitions
+ Walk on 1st May
+ Region 1 SSB fieldday in September
+ One week beginners' courses in electronics during the summer holidays
+ Annual excursion ( this year we are going to visit a brewery in the Black Forest )
+ etc.
